Terms for professionals

Last updated: October 1, 2026

These terms apply when you apply to Vetta as a professional and while you have a profile on Vetta. They're an agreement between you and The Bomb Enterprises Inc., which runs Vetta ("Vetta", "we" and "us"). If you apply for a clinic, you accept them for the clinic too.

Our Terms of use also apply, and our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

The short version

  • Vetta is free for every professional until billing starts, around April 26, 2027.
  • Then you choose Free (up to 5 new fits a month) or Pro ($39 a month + tax per practitioner).
  • No per-lead fees and no bidding.
  • Your practice, your records and your college's standards stay yours.

Who can join

To have a live profile on Vetta, you must:

  • be registered and in good standing with your Ontario regulatory college, in the class or title you tell us;
  • practise in a profession and a city that Vetta has opened. You can apply before yours opens, but your profile can't go live until it does;
  • give us accurate information.

Tell us at pros@onvetta.com within 5 business days if your registration status changes, if your college adds terms, conditions or limitations to your registration, or if your practice location changes.

Applying and verification

When you apply, you agree that we can check your college's public register when you apply, every year after that, and whenever we get a report about you. We record what we found: the register's web address, what it showed, when we checked and which of our reviewers checked.

  • We aim to decide within 2 business days of receiving a complete application. We may ask you for more information, or decline an application, for example if the register doesn't match what you told us.
  • If we approve you, we'll draft your profile from your application and invite you to review and publish it.
  • Send licence documents only through Vetta, never by email.
  • We may require a second sign-in step, like a passkey or an authenticator app, before your profile goes live.

Your profile

Your profile must follow your college's advertising rules, and ours:

  • Your photo is a real, recent headshot of you alone. No logos, stock photos or AI-generated images.
  • No testimonials or quotes from clients.
  • No superlatives or comparisons, like "best", "top", "#1" or "leading".
  • No promises about outcomes.
  • Your title is exactly what your registration allows. For example, show "(Qualifying)" if you're an RP (Qualifying), and say "specialist" only if you're a registered specialist.
  • Use "Dr." only if your profession is allowed to use it in Ontario.

Keep your profile accurate and current, including whether you're accepting new clients, your monthly capacity and your booking link. We may edit your profile, or hold it back from going live, to meet these rules, and we'll tell you when we do.

Your profile is public. People can find it on Vetta and in search engines.

Requests, fits and capacity

  • When someone sends you a request, accept or decline it promptly. A request expires if you don't answer within 48 hours.
  • If requests to you keep expiring without an answer, we may pause your profile so it stops getting new requests, and we'll tell you how to turn it back on.
  • A fit is a request you accept. After a fit, you and the client can message each other, and your booking link appears in the conversation.
  • We decide which profiles people see, and in what order, based on things like fit, location and how you use Vetta. We never rank health professionals on ratings or testimonials, and we don't guarantee any number of requests or clients.

Your professional duties

Vetta helps clients find you and get in touch. Your practice stays yours:

  • You're responsible for your services, fees, advice and care, and for following your college's standards, including on consent and advertising.
  • You keep your own client records, and you're responsible for protecting the information you take into them, under the privacy laws that apply to you, like Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).
  • Messages on Vetta are for getting in touch and arranging a first appointment. They aren't a clinical record, so keep clinical conversations and records in your own systems.
  • Booking and payment happen between you and your client, outside Vetta.
  • Use what clients share with you on Vetta only to answer them and provide your services. Don't add them to a mailing list without their consent.

Fees

  • Vetta is free for every professional until billing starts, which we expect around April 26, 2027. We'll email you at least 30 days before it does.
  • After that, you choose a plan:
    • Free: your verified profile, up to 5 new fits a month, messages and your booking link.
    • Pro: $39 a month + tax per practitioner, with unlimited new fits and profile analytics.
  • Prices are in Canadian dollars and don't include tax. We add the sales tax that applies, like 13% HST in Ontario.
  • Pro is billed monthly, in advance, through Stripe on our website. You can cancel any time: Pro stays on until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
  • We'll tell you at least 30 days before we change a price.
  • There are no per-lead fees and no bidding, and we never take a share of what clients pay you. What you pay Vetta is a flat fee for advertising and tools, not a fee for referrals.

Founding Pro

If your application reaches us before the Founding Pro deadline for your profession and city, you're a Founding Pro. Each deadline is the day Vetta opens for that profession in that city, so it moves if the opening moves. Current deadlines are on our For Pros page. If you joined our earlier waitlist for professionals, the date you joined counts.

Founding Pros get:

  • Pro free for 3 months, counted from the day billing starts. You won't need a card until those months end, and we'll remind you before they do.
  • A permanent Founding Pro badge on your profile, for as long as you stay verified on Vetta.

You keep Founding Pro if we verify you after the deadline, as long as you applied in time.

Clinics

  • A clinic can apply once and add its practitioners.
  • The person who applies confirms that they're allowed to act for the clinic, and that each practitioner agreed to be added and to these terms.
  • Each practitioner is verified on their own, and gets their own invitation to review and publish their profile. Each practitioner controls their own profile.
  • Once billing starts, the clinic gets one invoice, priced per practitioner.

The Vetta name and badge

While you're verified, you can tell people you're on Vetta, and use the Vetta name, logo and badge, but only in the forms we give you. Don't suggest that Vetta, or your college, endorses or recommends you. If you leave Vetta or stop being verified, take them down.

Your content

You keep ownership of your profile, your photo and anything else you give us. You give us permission to host, show and format it on Vetta and in search results, and to share links to your profile, for as long as you're on Vetta. We won't use your name or photo in advertising without asking you first. You confirm that you have the right to everything you upload.

Suspension and ending

We may pause, restrict or remove your profile, or close your account:

  • if your registration lapses, is suspended or revoked, or gets conditions that affect what you offer through Vetta;
  • if you break these terms or your college's standards;
  • while we look into a report about you;
  • to protect clients, other professionals or Vetta.

We'll tell you why, unless the law or someone's safety prevents us. You can stop accepting new clients, or delete your account, at any time. If you have Pro, cancelling ends it at the end of the month you've paid for.

Responsibility

  • We provide Vetta as it is and as available, and we don't guarantee any number of requests, clients or income.
  • You're responsible for your services and your profile. If someone makes a claim against us because of your services, your profile or your breach of these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs of it.
  • To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost income or clients, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of $100 and what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, including a price change, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel or delete your account before then. If you keep using Vetta after the change takes effect, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario decide any dispute about them.
